I achieved my City and Guilds certificates Parts 1 and 2 in 1995 and
along with several other 'finishers' became a founder member of Fimbria. One
of our aims was (and still is) to communicate the diversity obtainable
within Textile Art.
I enjoy the designing part of making a piece and often find the techniques
needed to convert the design into 'stitch' suggest themselves.
